I wanted to write to you today to tell you how much I have been impressed with Ashley Deflin McIntosh. I have worked with her before in that she would call on me to “vet out” any potential art sales for her clients. In this most recent transaction, Ashley demonstrated an amazing ability to make a potentially difficult listing and sale process into a pleasant and successful transaction. She was patient with the appointment of a Power of attorney process in order to list the house; she persevered with getting a painter, roofer and finally a plumber (I think she was there well after 10PM). She listened to her seller and she watched her potential buyers. Ashley not only rose above and beyond the call of duty in initially listing a house that had been empty for almost two years, although in a decent location in West Palm Beach, but she made it cheerful and welcoming. She did her due diligence in getting the pricing correct.
Almost 35 years ago, my first job was the assistant to the President of the newly formed Sotheby’s International Realty Corp in New York City. I was lucky enough to have success, but mostly to learn that listening to your clients and having an instinct for how to handle people was the key to any real success. I can tell you hands down, Ashley has just the right instincts and, of course, has a charming and engaging personal manner as well.
I really felt compelled and, in fact, asked Ashley’s permission, to write a letter of recommendation as she is a real star and a great advertisement for your business. I would not hesitate to recommend her in the future.
